Post Pattern Depression
It's my own fault. I don't need to get so involved, but sometimes I just can't help myself. Sometimes a design becomes so intriguing, so mesmerizing that when I finish it, even under the joy and thrill of accomplishment, I feel a sense of emptiness, a little bit of loss. Such is my relationship with "Blessings."

we all need a break now and again, you put so much of yourself into your crafting sometimes it's understandable to feel that way. Reading is a great escape from it all :)
ReplyDeleteYour design is beautiful :D
Flossy x
I agree with Flossy :) And Blessings does look lovely - from the center quatrefoil hearts to the beautiful borders, every repetition reflects back on the central motifs to wonderful effect.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, especially when working on minutely detailed projects, it helps to step away from it for a while and do something else. Hopefully, your break with give you a new perspective on your designing :) Best wishes!
